Infrared Control: The Teradon Infrared TV Control System is perhaps our most user-friendly system yet! You simply press Play on your universal remote, and begin viewing your prescheduled playback device (VCR, DVD, or Laser Disk program). Classrooms throughout the school can simultaneously view by simply tuning in to the channel. As the scheduled instructor, you control the commands (Play, Fast forward, Rewind, Pause, and Stop).

Our Infrared Control System interacts with the classroom TV, by sending and receiving information to the video head-end equipment (i.e. VCR's, DVD's etc). Teradon's Infrared Control Software gives teachers the ability to control all media devices from a hand-held remote control.*

Television Control allows for the control of all, or selected, televisions located on a video distribution network (i.e. power controls on/off, channels up/down, full volume control etc.) Since all the televisions are addressable units; it is easy for the Teradon Head-end computer to communicate, giving as well as receiving commands with the classroom televisions.

The instructor just points the remote at the TV and it automatically changes to the correct channel. All media devices in the media center can be controlled this way. Operating the system is just like operating a VCR or DVD Player. With the Infrared Control System the instructor can walk around the room and teach without ever being tied down to a telephone or computer.
