Industries’ 2006: Release of the Teracom IP
Intercom
Maximizing Existing LAN/WANs with Its Revolutionary
Intercom System - Albuquerque,
NM. - January 15, 2006 – Teradon Industries,
Inc. is excited to unveil its Teracom IP Intercom.
Teracom
IP Intercom has all of the advanced
hardware and software features of Teradon’s
Teracom systems, but maximizes any schools LAN or
WAN. It is the most revolutionary intercom system
available and provides every school
the opportunity to advance their intercom
systems into the 21st century without expensive
wiring upgrades. The IP Intercom
was showcased at the NSCA March 16-18, 2006 in Las
Vegas, NV.
The Teracom IP is perfect for any district adding
new schools, renovating existing
campuses, or wanting a district-maintained and programmed
communication system because it requires no additional
wiring- just a network drop. Plus the simplicity
and power of Teracom IP’s unique design, means
even the largest of systems require little or no
maintenance support. Intuitive user interfaces and
products are designed with the end-user in mind.
The new system features many more innovative applications,
multiple class/bell schedules, and paging from remote
computers – resulting in the most robust intercom
system, all using the existing LAN/WAN.

April
7, 2003—Teradon Industries, Inc released
the first of its-kind computer controlled intercom
at the NSCA 2003 in Dallas Texas. Teradon President
Donald Wilcox was enthusiastic about its response
saying, “We knew there was a need for it in
schools, and the attention we have received this
week has shown us that it was long over due.”
With easy-to-use functions and the ability to ring
bells and change schedules with the click of a mouse,
the Teracom will fit right into any school. “Everything
in schools is moving towards a computer interface,
the intercom industry had not caught on, until now”,
stated one school official.
The Teracom is revolutionary because
all of the programming is done right from the built-in
head-end computer. Vice President of Engineering
for Teradon Steven Maule, “Schools had longed
for the ability to make changes to schedules and
bell tones by themselves, the Teracom allows them
to do this with a click of a mouse.” For more
