Thank
you for visiting Teradon Industries Broadband Video
School. Whether you are a technology contractor,
architect, engineer, or part of the education IT
staff, this 2-day course will be a valuable tool
for you. As a leader in Media Management, we saw
the need to make sure every person involved in video
distribution and media management systems has an
opportunity to learn how these systems are installed
and designed. Whether you are looking at traditional
coaxial or broadband over the CAT5 network, analog
or digital video systems, or digital video content,
this course will benefit you.
Course
Description:
The Video School is designed for any individual
at any knowledge level that desires to learn about
video distribution systems and ways to upgrade those
systems into hybrid Media Management systems. At
the completion of the 2-day course, every person
in the class will be able to design and layout video
systems, configure Head end systems and losses throughout
the system from head end to TV. Most importantly,
you will be able to balance and troubleshoot your
system to give you the power of maintaining your
own systems. This course is a must for any company
wishing to sell or install Teradon equipment, but
is not limited to such companies. This is an overview
Broadband Video Systems. This course will cover
infrastructure wiring, both Coax and CAT5, Head
end systems, system applications, control options,
pricing and sales.
Understanding
the losses and layout of each topology is critical
for head end system functioning and how the two
parts of your system work together. Another key
component of video systems is the products used
within the head end. You may or may not know of
the many options available to you when choosing
modulators, combiners and sub-band broadcasting
equipment. In this course, these options will be
given to you in detail, giving you an opportunity
to select from several options in your designs.
One of the main focuses of this course is to provide
the ground work for video systems for your clients
and offer to you choices in your designs in an attempt
to create cost effective and affordable systems
that are easy to maintain. We feel that this is
the best way to not only succeed in the bid market,
but open the door to direct sales opportunities.
